     Hospital News CHRISTIANACARE
CHRISTIANACARE has been rated a Best Hospital and achieved the highest ratings in nine of 10 common adult conditions or procedures as evaluated by U.S. News & World Report. ChristianaCare was recognized as the best hospital in Delaware and was ranked No. 3 among the 90-plus hospitals in the Philadelphia region. ChristianaCare was ranked No. 24 in the nation in gynecology and was rated
as high-performing in care related to urology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology and GI surgery, and neurology and neurosurgery.
CHRISTIANACARE has been ranked as one of the nation’s Best Maternity Hospitals by Newsweek, and Leapfrog, a national nonprofit organization that reports on the safety and quality performance of U.S. health care facilities. ChristianaCare received the highest grade of “A.”
NEMOURS CHILDREN’S HEALTH SYSTEM
NEMOURS/ALFRED I. DUPONT HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN has announced the appointment of Mark Mumford as Chief Executive of Delaware Valley Operations, effective September 1, 2020. Mumford will serve as a member of the Executive Cabinet and report to President and Chief Executive Officer R. Lawrence Moss, MD. He will be based in Wilmington.
SAINT FRANCIS HEALTHCARE
SAINT FRANCIS HEALTHCARE has appointed Brandon Harvath as President and Chief Operating Officer. Harvath will oversee all operating functions of the hospital, physician practices and outpatient services. He will also serve as the Executive Director of the Delaware Care Collaboration, Saint Francis’ Accountable Care Organization. Harvath has served as Chief Operating Officer of Saint Francis Healthcare since 2019 and was Interim President prior to the official appointment.
THE SAINT FRANCIS ADVANCED WOUND CARE CENTER has received the
Center of Distinction award from Healogics, the nation's largest provider of advanced wound care services. To receive the award, a wound
care center must have achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92% and a minimum wound-healing rate of at least 92% within 28 median days.
