                                    Meeting held at Dover Oct. 11-12, 1909: “It was determined to establish an official organ of the Delaware State Medical Society, such to be known as the Journal of the Delaware State Medical Society and to be under the control of 5 trustees: 3 from New Castle County, 1 from Kent, and 1 from Sussex County.” On motion, it was decided to print the proceedings of the 1909 session in the Journal. Harold Springer, MD was appointed the first editor.
