Delaware newborns were tested, 25 babies were diagnosed with hearing loss and
20 were referred for early intervention. Most of these babies were referred before six months of age.13 Delaware now has
a dedicated newborn hearing screening program mandated by law, which tracks babies who fail or miss their testing. These interventions have individual health and  to the time when every Delaware baby    as Delawareans and have all the same opportunities as their hearing neighbors.
