trails both for those looking for a leisurely ride as well
as for more competitive cyclists. While biking through the quiet Amish countryside west of Dover, cyclists can spot traditional horse buggies, Amish families working, rustic barns and acres of charming farmland. Along the Delaware Bay, trails criss-cross around the beautiful waterfront, as well as around fresh waterways and ponds. Kent County also offers three cycle routes that marry transportation functionality with the beautiful scenery. These regional bicycle routes, including the Connector Bicycle Route and the Statewide Bicycle Route, provide direct connections between Kent County’s many activity centers and Delaware’s major municipalities. There’s no better way to see the beauty of Delaware’s Quaint Villages than by bike!
