TEDxWilmington organizer Ajit George is using Opportunity Zone benefits to start Second Chances Farm, a hydroponic, indoor farming project that will hire almost exclusively people who were formerly incarcerated and pay them $15/hour, as Delaware Business Times reported in February. The long-term goal is to allow the employees to start farms of their own someday.
