Deputy Executive Director
The Delaware River and Bay Authority became
the sponsor of Wilmington Airport (ILG) in 1995.
Recognizing its potential for growth and prime
location in the northeast, the DRBA embarked
on a vision for the airport’s development and
modernization into the new millennium. It created a new Airports Division to bring professional management to the realization of that vision and, as growth and opportunities began to unfold, was tapped to assume the sponsorship of other airports in the region. By 2002, the DRBA had added Delaware Airpark and the Civil Air Terminal at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, and Cape May Airport and Millville Executive Airport in New Jersey, which is the DRBA family of airports as it stands today.
