All of Delaware’s three counties
are home to innovative companies,
programs, and trends. From start-ups to Blue Chip companies to mature-industry enterprises, each county can boast its own innovative character
The First state’s innovation economy is particularly dense around the I-95 corridor in New Castle County, which includes Wilmington and Newark cities. Kent County, the seat of state government, is evolving its manufacturing base and producing start-ups. Sussex County, the home of Delaware’s beaches, is showing that Agriculture can be highly innovative. And, of course, a unique “Culinary Coast” is just one more innovative feature of
a strong Tourism economy in Sussex.
