Esopus Meadows Lighthouse

HISTORIC sites Hudson-Athens Lighthouse
An architectural gem built in 1874, it served as a manned lighthouse until the 1960s. Tours are second Saturdays, July-October.

Rondout Lighthouse
Historic 1915 brick lighthouse operated by Hudson River Maritime Museum. Still a navigational light. Accessible only by boat and museum-guided tour.

Saugerties Lighthouse
The restored red-brick lighthouse is reachable via a half-mile nature trail and is open as a bed and breakfast, with a museum and gift shop. The lighthouse was formerly part of the commercial heyday of the waterfront. Tours are available.
