My Deep Creek Experience
MY HUSBAND AND I, TOGETHER WITH OUR CHILDREN, HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SECOND-HOME OWNERS here at Deep Creek Lake. We have owned our home for the last 28 years. So when I sold my business in Bethesda, I decided to come to Garrett County and live here for some time.
At the same time, I recognized there was a huge need for another transportation option for the sick and elderly. I ended up establishing County Caravan in December of 2012.
I was embraced very well from the moment
I started my business here. The Chamber
has helped me tremendously with social
gatherings and networking opportunities
to get to know other business owners. We have very nice, kind, resourceful business owners here.
I love the nature here. I love hiking and skiing. Things are just nice, quiet and stress-free. It takes me less than 10 minutes to get to work.
