High Country Creamery & Market (highcountrycreameryandmarket. com) in Grantsville makes and
sells cheese from locally sourced cow’s milk and other local, natural products. You can also grab breakfast or lunch at the market six days a week.
The restaurant at The Casselman Inn (thecasselman.com/restaurant. php) in Grantsville has become
a favorite for both visitors to and residents of Garrett County. The restaurant’s cuisine reflects the owners’ Pennyslvania Dutch and Amish backgrounds and includes a variety of favorite comfort foods, including homemade breads and pies that are made in the onsite bakery. The Casselman also offers a Saturday morning brunch and a Friday night buffet.
If you’re in the mood for a unique dining experience, try Ace’s Run Restaurant & Pub in Oakland (acesrun.com). Tuesday is a great time to visit — it’s Sushi & Fusion Taco Night! Ace’s also offers Open Kitchen Nights, where guests are invited to watch as their dinner is cooked.
