These locations also produce roughly 1,000 patient- specific implants every year that are custom-made based on anatomic scans of specific patients’ needs, and are also home to teams focused on research and development.

A recent example is a collaboration with longstanding global partner Operation Smile on a new instrument set for the repair of cleft lip and cleft palate for children around the world. After the design was completed, the company donated 80 sets of surgical instruments for use on Operation Smile’s medical missions.
DePuy Synthes also provides global organizations such as Mercy Ships, Americares and the World Pediatric Project with product or monetary donations.
At the local level, the company is proud to support non-profit groups that work for the health and well-being of our neighbors

Examples include Peter’s Place, which provides a safe and supportive environment for grieving children and families, and Quest Therapeutic Services, which offers pediatric therapy services to enhance the lives of children with disabilities in the Delaware Valley.
