At the 500-acre Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, visitors can view more than 100 unique sculptures, while Vassar

You can also spoil a good walk at three Dutchess County public courses: Beekman Golf Course, Dutcher Golf Course, and James Baird State Park Golf Course, or in Putnam at Putnam County Golf Course and Centennial Golf Club. For a slightly elevated golf experience, there are countless country club, private, and semi-private golf courses to choose from as well.
College in Poughkeepsie boasts the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center with more than 21,000 works.
Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah is a prime destination for live performances of multiple genres. Other popular local venues include Tarrytown Music Hall, White Plains Performing Arts Center, the Capitol Theater, the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, and West Point’s 4,000-capacity Eisenhower Hall Theatre.
The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College is home to a wide variety of performing arts acts year- round. And Chappaqua Performing Arts Center is a new addition to the region’s entertainment scene.
Enjoy classical performances by the Newburgh Greater Symphony Orchestra or take in a live show or movie at the Historic Paramount Theatre in Middletown. Bardavon, in Poughkeepsie, offers offers affordable arts education programs, music, dance, theater, and classic films.
