Mount Kisco At-A-Glance
Roughly an hour from Manhattan, Mount Kisco covers nearly three-square miles, and was incorporated in 1875. It was initially a village straddling the towns of Bedford and New Castle but became an independent town in 1978. Ethnically diverse, Mount Kisco has a bustling downtown dotted with innovative businesses and acclaimed restaurants. Major employers include CareMount Medical, Northern Westchester Hospital, Zierieck Manufacturing Corporation and Curtis Instruments.
