Information Center
The Longwood Progressive Meeting House, built in 1855, was the gathering place for Progressive Quakers who
were activists in the Underground Railroad and other causes of the day. In 1989, the Chester County Conference & Visitors Bureau moved into the building for use as a tourist information center.
Start your journey here — the Brandywine Valley Tourism Information Center is located across the street from the entrance of Longwood Gardens. Visit with our knowledgeable staff and tap into our interactive touch screen display. Maps and brochures are available and guests are welcomed daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
