For almost 25 years,
the all-volunteer Lansdowne Folk Club has brought folk, acoustic
and blues music to the heart of Delco, earning itself a spot on’s list of “35 Best Folk Music Venues in the U.S.” The music happens in the ballroom of the Twentieth Century Club, an Arts-and- Crafts-style building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Spring 2018 concerts include Anne Hills, The Kennedys, Uncle Bonsai, David Jacobs-
Strain and Bob Beach,
and Mike Agranoff

Haverford Township residents love celebrating their diverse and creative community and they are takin’ it to the streets — literally. Two fantastic events bookend the region’s outdoor festival season: the HAVERFORD SPRING FEST ON MAY 6 and the HAVERFORD MUSIC FESTIVAL ON SEPTEMBER 8. Both events happen in the heart of Haverford Township, otherwise known as Darby Road.
Each day features dozens of musical acts, beer and wine gardens, food booths, pop-ups by local vendors, and children’s activities, so the entire family can have fun ALL. DAY. LONG. Both events happen rain or shine. Admission is free, but a small, per-person donation is requested to support community projects, making it “a party with a purpose” — and we’ll gladly raise a glass to that.
