Crossroads The Tower
Philadelphia has long had
a deep music history. Whether it’s the instantly recognizable sounds of the Mummers, the classic hits
of native artists like Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, and Patti LaBelle, or the institution of Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, it goes without saying that when
it comes to music, we can
bring it. And one of the best places around to catch live shows is Upper Darby’s Tower Theater. Since its opening in 1972, the Tower stage has seen performances by hundreds of classic artists, including Paul Simon, Neil Young and David Bowie, who all have recorded live shows there. Today, the Tower continues to rise above the
Philly music scene with rockin’ performances all year long.

 Main Line Firepoint Grill
According to Philadelphia Style Magazine, the Main Line
is experiencing a restaurant renaissance,
and Newtown Square’s Firepoint Grill is part of the rebirth. The Town Dish says Firepoint’s brunch “is high on our list of must-dos on that next rainy weekend”
— and with bananas foster French toast and jumbo- lump crab cake eggs Benedict on the menu, we can see why. Top that all off with a signature cocktail on the heated patio and there is no point in arguing — this place is on fire.
