     CHAMBER GROUPS AND COMMITTEES
 Networking doesn’t only take place at events — it happens at monthly meetings, too! Interested in learning more about what is going on in the Greater Bethesda area? Want to work together with fellow members and develop                  a committee or interest group!
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT/ GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
MEETS: 4th Wednesday of the month, 8:00–9:00 am
Develop a proactive economic and policy agenda; monitor all issues that affect living, working and doing business in the Greater Bethesda community.
LEGISLATIVE TASK FORCE
MEETS: 1 time a week via conference call during the legislative session Review legislation that affects member
businesses; determine the Chamber’s position on each bill. Members of this group also volunteer to help write letters and/or testify on behalf of the Chamber.
SENIOR MARKET GROUP (SMG)
MEETS: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 9:00–10:00 am
Offer programs and information on how to better serve, understand and market to the senior demographic and their families. This group also focuses on providing education, networking and referral opportunities for members.
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
MEETS: 1st Wednesday of the month, 8:30–9:30 am
Strengthen and grow the Chamber
by building our member network and      include retention calls and visits, walk- arounds and the Ambassador program.
NEXTEXEC
(YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GROUP)
MEETS: 4th Tuesday of the month, 4:00–5:00 pm (networking after hours following meeting)
Self-run peer group for young professionals in the Greater Bethesda area interested
in engaging in business networking, professional development and community service in order to position themselves for optimal career growth.
REAL ESTATE
MEETS: 4th Wednesday of the month, 9:15–10:15 am
Focuses on current and future real estate
         
SPECIAL EVENTS
MEETS: as needed for each major event
Plan, develop and promote special Chamber events throughout the year, such as the Annual Fall Gala and Golf Tournament.
CEO MINDTRUSTS
MEETS: as determined by each peer group
Small groups designed to provide peer-to- peer networking for decision makers in a closed-door setting. Groups are limited to 10 members from different industries.
INDUSTRY ROUND TABLES
MEETS: as determined by each Round Table
     
industries to network, share issues and provide continuing education and updates on trends. Currently, the groups are: Health     Open to all        industry in order to attend.
