Enterprise Program Manager, W. L. Gore & Associates
Ramona is responsible
for implementing business-process improvement programs
that increase associate productivity, engagement and collaboration. She has enjoyed a number of leadership positions in the diversity networks at Gore, including African American Business Network
– Core Team, Gore Reaching Out to Women – Plant Representative, Diversity Mentor, Diversity Champions – Graduate, and two-time team member of Building Relationships Across Differences.
Prior to joining Gore, Ramona worked
for over two decades in project management, operations, engineering, sales and adjunct professor roles with Honeywell, the Federal Reserve Bank
of New York, Lord Corporation, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Gemcraft Homes and Delaware Technical Community College. Her community service ranges from volunteering with Water for Kenya, Sharing Table and the Delaware Food Bank to participating in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she also serves on the Arts & Letters Committee. In addition, she is an award-winning screenwriter, best- selling author of three New Adult novels, and an entrepreneur. Ramona holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and her MBA from University of Rochester – Simon School
of Business with concentrations in Marketing, Operations and Computer Information Systems.
Ramona resides in Elkton, Maryland with her husband, Jacques, and Salesian Gentlemen sons JP ’17 and Alex ’19.
Robert J. Byrne ’80
Director and Chairman of the Board, Masonite International (NYSE: DOOR)
Bob was the founder and served as the president of Power
Pro-Tech Services, Inc. until it was sold
in 2017, his fourth start-up. His other entrepreneurial ventures have been in telecommunications, private equity and educational software. From 1999 to 2001, Bob was executive vice president and chief financial officer of EPIK Communications, a start-up telecommunications company that merged with Progress Telecom in 2001 and was subsequently acquired by Level3 Communications. Having begun his career in investment banking, Bob served as partner at Advent International, a global private equity firm, from 1997 to 1999 and immediately prior to that, from 1993 to 1997, served as a director of Orion Capital Partners. Bob served as a director of NextEra Energy Partners, L.P. from 2014 until 2017.
Bob graduated from Salesianum in 1980 and earned his BS degree in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. He graduated with distinction from Harvard Business School with an MBA in 1988. Bob lives in Winter Park, Florida, with his wife Kate and has two children: a son, Trever, and daughter, Mariah.
The Very Reverend Lewis S. Fiorelli, OSFS Provincial, Oblates of
St. Francis de Sales, Wilmington-Philadelphia Province
Fr. Fiorelli, OSFS, is the former Superior General of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales (1994-2006). He holds a BA in Modern Languages, summa cum laude (Niagara University), a Bachelor of Sacred Theology
(University of Fribourg, Switzerland,
and the Catholic University of America),
a Licentiate and Doctorate in Sacred Theology (The Catholic University of America), and an Honorary Doctorate from De Sales University.
Fr. Fiorelli taught English and World Cultures at the Father Judge High School (Philadelphia) and French and Religion
at the St. Francis de Sales High School (Toledo). For many years before his election as Superior General in 1994, he taught both seminarians and laity at the De Sales School of Theology in Washington, DC. There he taught extensively on many topics including Christology, Christian Anthropology, Christian Spirituality, Salesian Spiritual Direction, Mysticism, Readings in St. Francis de Sales, and courses on major Salesian writings, particularly “The Treatise on the Love of God” and “The Introduction to the Devout Life.”
He has also taught in the Education for Parish Service Program at Trinity College on “The Church in Vatican II,” and in the Program for Personnel Development at the Inter-American Development Bank, Washington D.C. Fr. Fiorelli has served as chair of the East Coast Conference
of Catholic Deans, and served as the general formation coordinator for the Oblate Congregation. He is the auxiliary religious assistant to the two American Federations of the Order of the Visitation of Mary. In the course of his priestly and academic career, he has given parish missions, numerous retreats and spiritual conferences. Fr. Fiorelli is a noted spiritual director who has published widely in the field of Salesian spirituality.
After serving as Superior General and before his election in June of 2018 as Provincial of the Wilmington-Philadelphia Province, Fr. Fiorelli was a parochial vicar at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Vienna, Virginia.
