it’s an opportunity to share the lessons that were learned under Coach Dim Montero — teamwork, grit, discipline and perseverance — with an audience that goes far beyond Salesianum. It’s why we asked the school to specifically honor him with a memorial at the new stadium and why we feel so proud to be able to make this gift.”
Construction is estimated to take 15 months to complete and will include a new turf multi-use athletic field, larger eight-lane composite track, new grandstands, lights,
locker rooms, press box, community room, scoreboard, concessions, offices and a maintenance facility for Delaware State Parks. Abessinio Stadium will accommodate more users and provide meaningful access to many more community groups, youth and adult club teams, and
