In Brewster, the farmers market is open year-round – and visitors can also stop by Tilly Foster Farm to see diverse farm animals, dine and experience the farm’s museum.
Green Chimneys Farm is open year-round, while Ryder Farm Cottage Industries
offers produce, flowers and herbs for CSA members. Patterson is home to another CSA farm, the Cascade Farm and Farm School, as well as the Kessman Brothers farm, offering pumpkins and corn. Garrison’s Maple Lawn Farm Market is open from March through December, while the town’s Saunders Farm sells certified Angus beef.

for some inspiration, don’t miss SPACE on Ryder Farm – a nonprofit residency program that gives writers, actors, musicians and fine artists a retreat to develop their work. The program, based at Ryder Farm in Brewster, attracts a wide variety of creatives from
New York City and beyond, for week-long retreats to rediscover and recharge their work. CSA membership fees and grants help subsidize the SPACE program and support the organic farm.
