How do you celebrate your Italian heritage?
With her grandfather’s roots in
Naso, Sicily, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, Lady Gaga, introduced Tony Bennett to a new generation & handled his last public performance with respect & admiration. She was the perfect choice to play Patrizia Reggiani in ‘House of Gucci.’
Call her Lady Maria, Bartiromo, TV & financial journalist, news anchor & author was recently Knighted by the Republic of Italy receiving the Order of Merit, Italy’s highest-ranking honor granted for merit acquired by the nation “for long & conspicuous
service in civilian & military careers.” In a ceremony at the Italian Embassy in New York, she expressed “...a big thank you to the Council General Fabrizio Di Michele...conveyed on behalf of Italian President Sergio Mattarella...honorary VP of Deputies & member of Parliament Edmondo Chiarelli & the honorable Amato Berardi for recom-mending me for this distinction...it was truly
an honor... to receive this incredible distinction.” With Italian roots in Agrigento, Sicily & Nocera, Naples, her paternal grandfather Carmine, who arrived in New York in the late 1800’s, would be proud.
“A Local Lady of Firsts”

a domestic abuse survivor, who never imagined she would encounter domestic abuse both emotionally, psychologically & physically in
her life. She was a happy girl
who wanted to be loved & feel accomplished but found herself near death at the hands of her abuser. It took 30 years for Piperno to share her story. Now she is fearless & on a mission because NO one is listening & the system is broken. Attorney, author & advocate for domestic violence, her mission is to improve the system & be a warrior who fights the battles for others who can’t
find their voice. Brave, bold, sassy & classy, Kathy is available as speaker & for book signings.
