“It is because of my journey with Junior Achievement that I have grown the confidence to be a team player, to speak in front of crowds, and regain the hope I had lost
in myself and my abilities.”

  34 | GIVING GUIDE 2021/2022
 HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Every year, 2,100 successful adult role models
participate in structured interactions, lessons,
games and activities with over 17,000 local
students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Every Junior Achievement experience is
designed to connect kids to their future and
make education relevant by showing young
people how to become successful adults.
Junior Achievement volunteers show kids
how to: earn and manage money, launch business start-ups and explore careers that match their interests.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Employers can engage with thousands of Delaware students via JA Digital Career Book and the JA Inspire Virtual Career Expo for one annual contribution of $1,000, or select one of these two Learning Experiences for a $600 contribution.Individuals and businesses can sponsor a student through one Junior Achievement Learning Experience for $65 or several students at multiples of $65. Use our “Monthly 4 Kids” giving program to support an entire class of students by establishing a monthly electronic contribution to Junior Achievement. Unique branding opportunities are also available by establishing scholarship funds, hosting JA Job Shadows & JA Internships, and through interactive educational suites on the JA Campus.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers are the heart of every Junior Achievement experience for young people. Business, community and parent volunteers bring their real-life experience to Junior Achievement’s easy-to-deliver lessons, world-class simulations and live workplace interactions. You can choose to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
